OrthoHelix has developed a complete line of patented implants as well as custom designed instruments to elevate the art of foot and ankle surgery. Because our products are designed by surgeons, we understand the distinct needs of orthopedic foot and podiatric surgeons.

OrthoHelix’s initial foot/ankle product is the MaxLock Plate and Screw System, designed by small bone surgeons for foot and ankle internal fixation. The MaxLock system is a low profile, anatomically designed plate that offers multiplanar fixation. The system contains 10 plate sizes, 2.7 mm and 3.5 mm screws, and a wide variety of instruments, many custom designed. The system is extremely versatile. It has been used for many different indications, such as MTP, lapidus, lisfranc, fibula fractures, calcaneocubid, calcaneal osteotomy, navicular cuneiform, ankle arthodesis and more. The hybrid screw, in conjunction with the plate design, offers 30 degrees of conical freedom that enhances pull-out strength and torsional stability. We have recently enhanced and improved the MaxLock. The new MaxLock Extreme Innovative Plate and Screw System incorporates locking/non-locking technology and an increased variety of implant options.
