MaxTorque^TM Cannulated Screw System

Unique thread design offers better bone purchase and significantly increases pull out strength over other cannulated screws.

The MaxTorque Cannulated Screw System is a series of implantable bone fixation screws.  Its intended use is to stabilize and aid in the fixation of fractures, fusions and osteotomies involving both long and small bones.  The system includes 4.0 mm, 5.5 mm and 7.0 mm screws of various lengths with corresponding washers.  The screws are self-tapping with a blunt tip to reduce tendon irritation and abrasions.  The system is also color coded for easy instrument selection.  The screws have been specifically designed to maximize the thread depth to improve overall compression and pull-out strength.

Recent testing showed that the MaxTorque 7.0 mm screw averages 46% and 57% better pull-out strength than two well known market leading cannulated screws. 

The MaxTorque System includes short and long thread screws in the following diameters and screw lengths:

• 4.0 mm (14 mm – 50 mm)
• 5.5 mm (26 mm – 70 mm)
• 7.0 mm (40 mm – 130 mm)
