OrthoHelix is developing a complete line of patented fixation devices and implants as well as specially designed instruments to elevate the art of hand and wrist surgery. Since engineers work with surgeons to design the product, we understand the distinct needs of orthopedic hand and wrist surgeons.
OrthoHelix’s initial hand/wrist product is the DRLock Volar Plate and Screw System, designed by some of the nation’s premier hand surgeons. The DRLock system is a series of implantable bone fixation plates, pegs, screws and instruments for the repair of distal radius fractures and osteotomies. Its contour was designed by using a proprietary software system and from cadaveric bone.
