MaxLock Extreme® contains a variety of instrumentation that aids in the ease of use of the system. Our instruments are ergonomically designed for comfort and to reduce surgeon fatigue.
The optional QI® (Quick Insertion) Guide is designed for the quick, precise and accurate drilling for locking screws. A traditional threaded guide is also included.
The ergonomically designed bending irons are designed to create a easy motion for manipulating plates to better fit the anatomy.
The drill bits and drill guides are color coded for ease of use and to reduce confusion in the OR.
The silicone ratcheting handle included in the set is ergonomically designed to reduce surgeon fatigue.
The clavicle soft tissue protector is designed to prevent over dilling and to protect the brachial plexus and supra clavicular nerves.
The olive wires can be used for temporary fixation of the plate.
